5th grade students test their rocket designs after changing one variable.

Mr. Gullman's and Mrs. Wright's students made tomato sauce with tomatoes from our school garden.

They used the solar oven to cook the tomatoes.

After making the sauce they all enjoyed spaghetti. The students loved this project-they were so engaged in the cooking and learning process.
