NETS*T Certification (Ongoing)
Teachers complete an electronic portfolio containing evidence of their mastery of the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers and earn technology for their classroom. For more information about the certification process, visit the NETS*T support website. Email Karen Campbell if you are interested.
Project iTEACH (Ongoing)
Several years ago we implemented a new approach to professional development for technology called Project TEACH. Teachers select a project that they want to work on and use time during staff development days to learn more about technology and develop lessons that they can use for instruction. Teachers may chose to submit the lesson to be eligible for incentives during the Clearinghouse Sweepstakes. We now have a Clearinghouse of 300 lessons and activities available.
Technology Road Shows (Ongoing)
Your ITRTs “take our show on the road" to offer even more time for you to work one-on-one with an ITRT. During these special days, all the ITRTs come to your school to work on whatever you want before school, during your planning time and/or lunch, and after school. You can set up an appointment or drop in anytime to ask us any question or to get help. We can come to your room to help, grab a computer in the lab, or use a wireless computer to help you with what you need. Be thinking of what you might want us to do on future Road Show days! Watch your email for more details.
