Instruction
Harrisonburg City Public Schools recognizes the key role that technology can take in supporting the educational process; however, the advantages that technology has to offer can only be realized if it is used appropriately and effectively. In order for this to happen, teachers and students must have a foundation level of hardware, software, and other technologies; the technology must support state Standards of Learning and content curriculum; students and teachers must have essential technology skills; and support must be provided. HCPS thereby strives to provide teachers and students with resources, support, and training to enhance them to make effective use of this important tool.
