IMPORTANT DATES

May 14 - Progress reports
May 27 - School Closed - Memorial Day

For the 2012-2013 school year, HCPS will have a nurse in every school. We provide general and emergency health services for our students. We monitor each student’s health record to ensure all immunizations are up-to-date and meet Code of Virginia standards. We administer medications as prescribed by a physician only with a practitioner signed medication authorization (see Forms link).

During first semester, all students in kindergarten, 3rd, 7th, and 10th grades will be screened for both vision and hearing. These screenings are administered to all new students to our division and are available upon written parental request.

We will work together with our HCPS parent(s) to make our schools a healthy, safe place to attend.
